The battery started draining and the screen didn’t respond at various times. A few times when I was on a phone call, my iphone would randomly dial someone else.
We live in the times where our phone is practically attached at all times to us. So of course this was the end of the world.
No really. At one point, I couldn’t even access my Facebook. I didn’t know what people were having for dinner!
I went into panic mode.
My husband did some kind of update and it went crazier from there. We finally made an appointment at the Apple store to get it looked like.
It smelled like some kind of conspiracy theory.
All these things seem to go wrong when some new fancy upgraded phone is about to come out.
I walked in with my kids shortly before dinnertime. The employee asked me how my night is going. I told him it all depends on those two kids and he would know if it was going downhill. He nervously laughed as he eyed the kids who were just starting to play with all the “toys” in the store. I gave him a run down of my issues and he began to check for all the things.
And there was not much wrong. Nothing they could really figure out anyway. So I could get a refurbished phone or upgrade to a newer model.
I tell ya..conspiracy theory.
Thankfully hubby had my phone under some warranty so we went with getting a refurbished model to save some money. I told him no more updates on the phone. The technician looked at me funny and laughed.
The kids were starting to go a bit stir crazy as they tried to touch the big apple sign. At one point, the 3 year old was trying to step on her stroller to get to it. The technician noticing what the kids were up to started to move faster and I finally walked away happily with my new refurbished phone…
and 2 kids asking when they could get their own phones.
Sounds like another conspiracy.
