This week in my classroom, we have been talking about goals and challenges. I may have been speaking with a group of first graders but sometimes my “motivation speeches” are to encourage me as well.
Sometimes I get caught up in the day to day just like everyone else. One minute I can feel like Wonder Woman and the next, I feel as if I lost all of my power.
This month, I have written 30 blog posts and have accomplished the blogging challenge of writing daily. I enjoy writing and love getting creative with so many stories. It has been so much to me that I have gotten so many comments or messages because someone liked what they read.
Today after a couple of doctor appointments, I got to sit down at one of my favorite restaurants to have lunch. Putting away the phone, I chatted with a lady sitting near me and the waiter. We talked about the mountains that aren’t too far from where we live here. It seems some areas have already gotten snow. We smiled thankful it wasn’t near us but appreciated how beautiful it must look. Some things in life are like that too. We know it is not perfect or not even for us but we find the beauty in it.
As I drove home, I thought about it. I don’t say it often enough but even in the chaos, I am appreciative of so much I have even if it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
Going into December, I am already thinking what I want to write about but I promise you, your email will be getting a much needed break from me! I hope that everyone enjoys their family time over the holidays!
Thank you so much for being supportive of me. I have the best family, friends, and readers.
