The one thing that gives us hope, courage, and the drive to push harder. It doesn’t always mean we succeed in what we set out to do.
But we create a journey and in that, we gain so much more.
When I turned 40, I was determined that it was going to be an amazing year. That’s kind of where the idea of this blog came about. Thoughts go through my head at night when I can’t sleep. Stories get made up while I am driving late at night after some much needed down time. Throughout the day, I think to myself, I can write about that.
40 Wishes and Counting meant that I had 40 years of making a wish on candles and there was still so much more I wanted.
Thanks to this blog, I have reached an audience, entertained some friends, made so many new ones and best of all, have branched out with my writing.
It’s been mostly quiet this year. Sometimes, I am not always able to put things down in writing. Some days, there just isn’t time.
But every now and then, a spark comes out and I just go, go, go.
Last November, I participated in a challenge to blog every day about something. Here we are and it’s that time again and I feel the need to type my heart out.
I hope you all hang in there with me as my emails pop up daily. Some days I may write a little and some days a lot. There will be everyday experiences and there will be some fiction writing. I appreciate all of you who continue to be supportive as I continue my writing adventures.
This is day one.
